Oh yeah and to add on, I’d probably say that depression is more likely when you have education and money, because your more aware of the micro aggressions and bs.

In some ways it’s empowering, but in a lot ways e everyday is a big wtf. I tend to find myself with more questions than answers.
In a way it’s true. I saw people with absolutely nothing happy as fukk and here we are miserable as shyt with “money.” It’s a trap. :francis:

I wish i had that problem..:mjcry: rich people are too spoiled to be happy with their lives...When you broke it's constant hardship, after hardship...

High rates of suicide, depression, trauma. Money solves issues but it brings a lot too.

Gotta learn to enjoy the little things when you got em...:francis:

EDIT: also wanted to add when your poor you focus on struggling to survive, when you rich there's this inate thing that you realize there's a safety net so that fear of falling isnt there. i believe...:ld:

See this is something that stuck with me, when I went to South Africa, as a teenager.

I’ll never forget going to a shanty town, walking through the huts, on a night where the weather was absolute garbage.

And what stuck to me to this day, was the hospitality that people showed me. Like people were willing to give me the shirt off their back make sure I was comfortable. I was like :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

They even tried to cook a special meal for my group and I was like :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

The smiles on people’s face when the see black Americans visit is surreal man. That energy was great.

With that said, that mindset keeps me fairly humble, optimistic and grounded about life today.
