Half the jury is racist. How TF do you deadlock on something as clear cut as that?

Aledda, a trained SWAT member, fired, striking Kinsey in the leg. Aledda's defense lawyer, Douglas Hartman, blamed faulty radios and poor supervision by the North Miami Police Department for the miscommunications that led to the shooting.

"He had a life-and-death situation. He thought without question that Mr. Kinsey was going to die, be shot and murdered," Hartman told the jury of five men and one woman.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but cops in shootings where there is video evidence are something like 5x more likely to face charges than cops in shootings without video evidence.

Meaning there's literally hundreds of cases out there where the cops would have been taken to court if someone had had a video camera. But without that video evidence it's almost impossible to get any shyt to stick.
