My resume and background is highly impressive. I have been applying for over a year for mad jobs even while working and after being terminated. I think a huge part of it is because I'm a black man. I see cacs being hired with no experience, fresh outta college making 6 figures. The math ain't mathing.I rather use my real surname and work somewhere they want me rather than trying to trick racist into interviewing me.
Ain’t gotta trick. Actually it allows someone else to get an opportunity. I love when my face shows up on a Google Meet/Zoom interview and they’re surprised. Yup, I took a spot from Chad.
Stay within that $60k-$80k range in multiple remote jobs. Low salary or too high expect too much. Be a quiet cog in the machine. Easy $200k. They’ll give you a laptop and keyboard and work accordingly. Think of yourself as a consultant.
First I would like to say fam I wish you much success on your career Journey. You can speak to your experience better than I can but I still wouldn't want to trick my way into a interview with a potentially racist company. I think it's good companies out there that will hire brothas. I say that even if you get that job it's going to be a lot of BS attached because they were expecting "Raj Kamala Singh" or "Tyler Brad Tyler-White" and not "Keyshawn Delante Jenkins"My resume and background is highly impressive. This breh is truly enlightened. ReppedBreh my full time job is CAKE. I work maybe 5 hours a week and still kill it. Remote. Little meetings, no having to have my screen on. Nobody bothers me. I take multiple hour naps. Don’t even make sense. Everything gets sent to Support.
Now it’s called “over employed”. Working multiple full time jobs at the same time at home.
I’ve had over 30 interviews for a Director role ($200k). They won’t give it to a Black man in this industry. Might as well work multiple $70k jobs with no responsibilities other than ki-ki on Slack.
Make Director/boss money with least amount of effort. I’m done tryna break a “ceiling”. I don’t wanna manage people anyways.
Please do not comment on any racist things.

It definitely is. Our merit ain’t gonna overcome their hate. Despite being relatively successful, receiving high praise and great performance review, I’m still perpetually under leveled in every role I’m in.My resume and background is highly impressive. That's their MO. Get into a company, climb the ladder, hire their own.I saw that on Reddit. Interesting posts about Indians going out of their way to only hire Indians. There are some interesting takes on Reddit.
