N I'm sure those families would like it when there's a real criminal with the names of their slain and brutalized relatives coming out of his mouth
I'm not looking for ulterior motives, I'm just adding another side to people saying that his comments are actually making a statement. Frankly, everyone is scum in this case, the victims included, but it's a shame that the vitctims of prolice brutality are being dragged into this mess.

The truth isn't reserved for the righteous, anybody can say it. And he didn't drag anything into his mess, dragging it would be him saying: "I did this for Trayvon/Eric/Ayanna!! fukk the pigs!" Except that's not what he said. Instead he indirectly told us to look at the parallels. Those being that he essentially committed the same crime as Zimmerman, Pantaleo, Loehmann and Wilson but he is the only one going to jail for such a crime. This was his last opportunity to make a public statement, he made the best of it by recognizing Black lives who didn't get justice. @Matt504 as for this being his last chance to make a statement, think about what him making this statement does.

It brings national attention to this message and it's coming from a convicted murder. By having that type of co-sign it does nothing but hurt the movement and associates in with murderers.

Yes he did murder them, that's completely unrelated to the statement he made in court, he's not looking for justice for himself, his fate is already sealed, but he's recognizing people who were murdered in cold blood by law enforcement that didn't receive justice.
