kinda unrelated...but I pray for the day that black people start speaking honestly about race relations when it comes to sex and relationships. People say stuff like love is love or p*ssy is p*ssy but you can't tell me that you feel the same and on the same level socially, as someone of the underclass (black), with a white woman, as you do with a black woman. p*ssy is p*ssy but no ones ever talking about aboriginals and shyt, just white women or similar fairer skin "beautiful" races of women. How can you be sensitive to the nuances of being black in america, and can speak on it so accurately and precisely, but then just say women are just women.
I think people get so heated about this because people aren't honest. The chicks were yelling trying to explain what this guy is pretending he doesn't know. He's just choosing the woman of the white man knowing all that because she's worth it to him. He knows about white supremacy and our place in this country, and despite that, something about her has so much value that it overrides his blackness, to him. But he'll throw out some corny buzzwords about love is love and love sees no color instead of just being real.
and this isn't about being black or white, white people are attractive. I'm no super militant. But something about being on the subjugated side of white supremacy and seeing my people so enamored with the people who oppress us...it just feels wrong, and the older I get, the more wrong it feels
