Well I hope to see his community rally round homeboy. His actually trying to do something decent and use his place as a shared resource for people to learn and come together.

When I get tired of the ignorance of TheColi, I go there....then usually see some shyt that makes me stay away from the internet for a while. They have good information, but they can get racist as fukk.

The last thing we need to do is make it seem like EVERY black person is like this. I understand his story...it's sad......but I feel like this is going to backfire on the majority of us.

It's that crack egg syndrome this older brother told me about. When you go shopping and you grab some eggs; a good shopper always look to see if there is any cracked eggs. So when the good shopper see's the cracked egg they put it back. Why? The cracked egg is not leaking, you still can use it to make food. Then he said it's just like in the black community; there is that cracked egg which is the gang member's house, a crack house, ignorant folks and etc. When black people see that cracked egg in the black community what do they do; they up and leave or just don't do nothing. If we can get these crack eggs out of the neighborhood everything would be excellent
The problem is....damn near my whole block is a cracked egg.
Most of them are distant kin to me.....but they are definitely cracked. The uncles put the kids on, and now the kids run the block. They all are starting to have kids now....what do you do? Get rid of the dope sellers and put their kids through the same cycle?
I know them being there doesn't give them the best role model, but them not being there takes the little bit of financial support they make from the block away.
The girls that take care of the kids are just as ratchet.
Parents and grandparents allow it, on some "business as usually" shyt.
It's just so complicated.
No it isnt indicative of the entire black community however I bet you won't see the community step and protect/defend this brother. Black America is pretty much because of our apathy towards true progress. Our only hope to connect with other conscious blacks and disband from the masses.
