Hired protesters with the Black Lives Matter movement have started a #CutTheCheck hashtag and held a sit-in at the offices for the successor group to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in Missouri after the group allegedly stopped paying them.

FrontPage Magazine reports that Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment (MORE) has been paying protesters $5,000 a month to demonstrate in Ferguson. Last week, hired protesters who haven’t been paid held a sit-in at MORE’s offices and posted a demand letter online.

MORE is the re-branded Missouri branch of ACORN, which filed for bankruptcy in late 2010, FrontPage reported. MORE and other groups supporting the Black Lives Matter movement have received millions of dollars from billionaire financier George Soros.

i used to get paid like 50 K as a young nikka.... with ACORN. black people in our office... two white people where in charge though.

I was helping to push causes and register voters and protesting shyt like the fed reserve and doing a bunch of shyt that I didn't even really give a fukk about at the time. it was just good money for me.

Let me repeat....just in case yall missed. We have a right to demonstrate, protest, express our grievances through free speech etc etc. No doubt. The point is, there are people ready to co-op messages and send things spiraling into disarray for their own purposes. Not to say organic protest can't get out of hand, but here is just a clear example of an organic movement being monetized for someone(s) else agenda(s).

Now question: is every nikka with dreads for the cause?

Others have financial backing... So they will have a 'higher' goal that is some retarded bullshyt that doesn't help the common man. or black man... but will use Voter registration drives in certain areas to elect certain liberals...
or they will have people getting paid to organize communities ( which was my job) .. the actually people care, but the mid men want cash.. and the people at the top Do care - But only care about some fukk issue that only matters to them.

But when you have a 27 year old cac running an office filled with young and old blacks telling them to go to neighborhoods to 'organize'.......... it's cool until you realize that that same CAC is terrified of that neighborhood.
