There's not a lack of varied Black authors. Big publishing will get behind authors catering to what sells, the same way Big media gets behind rappers catering to what sells. No difference.

Lot of great books being put out by University Presses, and independents. Across different genres and covering different topics.

I'm not the most well read dude but I'm sure the the statement to "theres a lack of Black male authors" is false.

The young generation on here seems native to Google but not very skilled in using it for research purposes of finding authors to read.

yea i'm having a hard time finding black male authors. any sites you recommend going to? I see all these lists get published about "best contemporary black authors" and similar but they usually have a lot of overlap.

Evan Winter - "The Burning" series. African Fantasy

So far he has released 2 books of a planned 4. The next one is supposed to drop in 2023. They are really really good. I highly recommend them.

This is what i'm talking about. Rarely find black fantasy novels. Do you know any black sci fi stuff too?
