Yeah, I would rather have another season of BL than a Painkiller spinoff, but if that isn't an option I would be curious to check it out.
The action was on point and the inner war between Khalil/Painkiller could produce some interesting drama, but I'm not sure about the modified voice
They switched up the setting with a sort of futuristic feel to his new place and the blue lighting, and his buddies seemed cool.
Mya didn't get a chance to make much of an impression, outside of the twist at the end
That is one area that BL exceled out right out of the gate with Lala and Tobias being great villains.

The end twist showed the great villain set for this shyt.
Man this shyt was dope as fukk to me man I love seeing this strong black shyt on TV. As you said the inner battle between the 2 minds was done extremely well, from dialogue to execution that shyt showed a bunch of potential.
