i seen this shyt on another board:mjlol:
I've come to the conclusion that we're never going to get a respectable Black Jesus. So far the best representation of Jesus I've seen was in the Passion of the Christ and everybody knows Jim Caviezel is nowhere near Black.

Now Black Jesus? I've given it a chance. I kind of like the idea of Jesus in the hood but honestly I'm sick of the show. I'm sick of Jesus cussing and calling people out of their names. I'm sick of Jesus seemingly lying and using God's power to do things. I believe it was the second ep where his friend was with him on that drug deal. They abandoned him and Jesus got arrested. He claimed his friend was nowhere near them when the dude's girlfriend grilled him. He told her to call his friend and she'd see that Jesus had left him a message to meet up with him later. Jesus used his power to fabricate a message out of thin air knowing daggone well he was with him. The man lied. Yes it was to help someone out but he lied. No, Jesus wouldn't be down with that. I have no doubt Jesus would hang out with their type but he wouldn't be cussing, smoking weed and name calling.

This show is outright disrespectful to God but think of the kind of World we live in. No one cares about God. Heck it's fashionable to be Atheist and diss God. Christians are painted as the idiots so why wouldn't such a show be acceptable? I'm not saying we should riot, boycott, none of that. Me? I disapprove but I continue to catch it when I see it on. I have yet to see any good come out of that show. Sure everything is wrapped in a pretty little bow at the end but it isn't justified.

Another example, probably the same episode. Charlie Murphy told Jesus to stop BBQing in the front of the complex. Why is he BBQing? Jesus would not be standing there blatantly disrespecting the man then offer him some food. Jesus would have probably apologized, gotten the apostles and vamoosed. If you really want to get technical Jesus wouldn't be there to begin with. This guy isn't Jesus. He's nowhere near Jesus. He's some Black dude who thinks he's Jesus and he isn't funny either.

I saw Family Guy and South Park mentioned in an earlier post. They don't count because for one thing they're funny. For another thing they don't make Jesus a pivotal reason to tune in. On South Park Jesus may walk in once in awhile but he isn't in the title nor is he the main reason people tune in. The same goes for Family Guy so they don't count.

:deadmanny: At that "I might suck dikk" line
I was fukking crying with laughter when the nikka said that.

When he was like "Wait! I didn't mean to say that!:whoa:" when he was getting egged, that sent me over the edge :russ:

And Charlie Murphy was killing it this episode

"Coolio :wtf: - don't no body give a FUKK about Coolio!" :heh:

Best episode yet
