I just learned about this from a post by my cousin on fb. This reminds me of the book forgot the name, I read in the public library while skippin class in hs. Going into details of lynchings, actual runaway slave posters. They lynched this man, cut off his genitals held it up,burned the corpse & then dragged the body with a rope.
