I played hockey for a bit as a kid and the cism was unbelievable. One time we played a tourney in Vermont, and as I'm stepping onto the ice for the pregame skate, some old CAC bytch yells out "Stay out of our white sport, you fukkin monkey".

When I turned 13, I said fukk it and focused on basketball and soccer.

Similar shyt happened to me in HS. I score a goal and next thing I know the defensemen is repeatedly smacking his goalie upside the head for letting "a monkey score on you!" WTF?

Anyway, I kind of stopped fukking with hockey for a while because a lot of fans I encountered are on that low key kind of racism/prejudice if you get what I mean.

Shortly after i quit hockey and started playing more basketball again, all the dudes I played with were like "It was only a matter of time before you left that racist sport and came back to the courts"

I have a young cousin that plays hockey, and thankfully he doesn't experience nearly as much cism as I did.
