I work in the healthcare field, and I can tell you this is true.

BUT

I will say white people are under tested for HIV. Whenever a black person comes into a clinic for any testing HIV is usually one of the tests ordered up, and by %age most are negative. When a white person comes in HIV usually isn't ordered up, and this cultural bias and need to skew statistics is actually harming them. I once saw a white woman get full blown AIDS because her symptoms were ignored for years. Thrush, weight loss, night sweats and not one of them thought to order a HIV test. The woman is OK now but nobody should be getting full blown AIDS in 2018.

I've been in hospitals with a mostly black population and people are actually contracted to HIV test most of the people there, never seen that in a white hospital.

Still, I don't completel believe cdc stats when it comes to black people but anyone who ahs been in the DMV can kind of tell this is true.
