that's the textbook definition of black feminism and I agree with it, but let's not act like that's not what black feminists really fight for in 2015.

I dont see black feminists doing things to help black women advance economically, socially, and politically. black feminists rarely touch anything dealing with economics, the only social equality many of them care for is acceptance from white media outlets, and they limit their political advocacy to twitter hash tags & think pieces in white owned publications

black feminist limit themselves to discussions on street harassment, cultural appropriation, domestic abuse, calling out racist white women, how pop culture relates to black women, & the occasional "nikkas aint shyt" routine. most of those are extremely valid issues and are worthy of discussion, but they dont necessarily provide paths to the social, political, and economic quality of black women.

Most of us arent anti feminism in theory, we believe in the social, political, and economic quality of black women.

I'm not sure how old you are but I'm from a generation where there are literally a significant number of men missing because they are serving 10+ year prison sentences or are deceased.

If it is just a case of the available pool of Black men being scarce then why is it always White men that seems to be the alternative? Why aren't Black Feminist/Women who believe this to be true not turning to Asian, Latino and Arab men instead when it makes more sense given our history?
