I would like to argue against this because I am not poor. However, you might actually have a point. As I think about people I know, they are about getting that money and status. They are not going to ruffle any feathers or speak out and mess up that check. They will adopt the behaviors, ideas, and mindsets of the wicked hands that keep them comfortable.

That's why people need to stop chasing checks and start working towards writing their own.
