These sellout nikkas took it all the way back

Wow
What makes them sellouts?

Were they dancing on tables at the label?
Promoting Black genocide for dollars?

Amazing how making some pop music makes you a sellout... but these nikkaz never sold their dignity for a dollar. They just made dance music and made bank.

Agree 100%. They were talented enough to make party music as well. Did I miss their old stuff? Sure, but I don’t think that necessarily makes them sell outs.

With that being said, this album is smooth AF. It’s good to hear them go back to their beginnings

Production is dope, never really felt them as rappers even before they went pop, Will was the the only passable one. Was just gonna skim the album at first but 4ever and Constant back to back made sit thru the whole joint.

brehs I gotta disagree
I was fukking furious when they went in that pop direction, their first album is a classic :mjcry:

changing up as drastically as they did and making pop music for the sake of a dollar is the very definition of selling out

EPMD even had a song about it :sas1:

They had 2 albums before the album with where is the love as a single. Album right before that had a premo single. nobody cared. They caught Justin as he was becoming a big solo act. Song blew up. Would you also say Pusha T sold out with the clips doing songs with Justin? No. If selling out is defined by success and keeping it real failure then yeah they sold out.

They made an album called Monkey Business tho :stopitslime:

I agree with your points in general, but BEP were definitely acting funny for a while.
