Don't do it brehs.
Game is super P2W. You won't compete without spending alot of money. You can sell cash shop items for ingame money.
Grinding will suck because you will need to buy inventory space and more weight to hold more items.
Partying up will hurt your exp gain and you don't share drops like that. No trading between each other either.
You need pets to pick up the loot in a timely fashion and you can only buy those in the Cash Shop.
They sometimes give out free ones but they are only tier 1 and are slow as hell.
The only plus this game has is the combat.
Played this since it launched on the PC years ago. You are AFK most of the time to have your NPC workers do everything for you. Yes as in you keep your PC running 24/7 so your workers make money for you gathering mats and shyt.
The real money maker is pouring over spreadsheets to see your optimal return of investment on NPC workers and crafting.
Grinding mobs is all good until someone who nolifes the game rolls over to kill you for your spot
Upgrading your gear is another money/time sink because that is the only way to get stronger. But your Gear can downgrade trying to upgrade it. Which means millions of silver gone in about an hour.

black desert is buns and i wouldnt recommend it to anybody regardless of platform. if you download this shyt be ready to come up off some bread if you wanna be even remotely competitive.

Its a shame because no other game touches it on action combat. Not ONE.
But they would rather create new grind spots and unbalanced classes to get you to keep spending money

a lot of the customization options, abilities, flashy shyt are dope there's just a lot of mechanics, currencies, and key parts of the gameplay loop that you're going to need to grasp quick otherwise you'll lose interest.
Apparently they got a Monkey King (Sun Wukong) class about to drop and they are about to restructure some of the classes and theyve been working on a native version for XSX/PS5.... In other words now may be a good time for a breh to hop in

Its more abrupt than most other games by a lot man.
Try the cheapest entry option. I guarantee that in less than 3 hours you'll see it and realize that they're so blatant that any talk of reworks is never going to fundamentally change what they're about.
XBOX brehs fitting to run the console like a mini server just to grind on that bytch. I tried numerous times to get into that game but holy hell, its basically a job with fantasy clothing.
