The same can be said about Elon Musk. He didn't create PayPal. His payment company got merged into PayPal and then he got bought out.

Tesla is valuable based on share price and subsidies from the US government. He didn't create the company and ousted the founders.

Space X is basically a private contractor paid for by the US government.

A lot of these billionaires aren't but on paper.

Watch until the end.

The point is their billionaire status derives from holding large equity stakes in large corporations that aren’t reliant on celebrity status. And their wealth is more tangible and liquid, not partnerships that can end over night.

Why should it matter who is and isn’t a billionaire?

If you’re not a debt free thousandaire at least, you don’t have time to concern yourself with such matters unless you’re looking for inspiration.

Black celebrities face cards are worth more than a billion as long as they manage their image correctly, and controversy is not a deal breaker in most of the world, it’s actually respected.

Again, it’s the issue of tokenism and the illusion of inclusion being used to undermine the real economic upliftment of large numbers of black people.
