...I see nothing great in leaving your homeland, that a white man put you in and when you can't face the hardships there, you run to another white man's country because you weren't good enough to fix your own

unlike AA's, most carribs look to AFRICA as 'home' especially in Jamaica and Barbados.

For a region that you consider so deep in it's roots, a good question that should be asked is why nothing of note came out of the non-Spanish speaking, Carib, into popular culture outside of Trinidad and Haiti, until Jamaica started soaking up culture from Aframs...and the rest of the West Indian started copying Jamaicans?

I really hate the blanket term for people from the Caribbean. We are not all the same and can't be defined or label the same way as you can label yourself , due to the way of life, system, country rules varying from island to island. It'll be better to state the disagreements with the said from their country. I know where my parents come from, is a totally different way of life, compared to the island I was born on.
