I moved overseas because I can save more in retirement than I could save by working in the states. My rent just went back up to 400 US a month I'd rather not pay that so I'm moving to my other place for 100 dollars less.

Literally I got a call from some 70 year old Men asking me what I want to do today. They're cool but they're fukking 70. We went to the Mall yesterday and I almost lost them because they were walking sloooow.

They live in the DR. One does live in the states part time and is a goofy trying to find a "good girl" on dating apps but even if his old ass simped out in DR it's way cheaper than simping stateside.

I'm not a passport bro, but when I travel overseas the main thing I look at is the cost of living like damn.

I'm living in a mediocre living situation in the US. However I could be living even better, somewhere next to the beach in a high rise condo, while banking most of my money.

Meanwhile the thought working in the US for the next 30+ years and barely having enough to retire is draining.

I'm at a point, where I'm considering a house in the next year or so, but I'm like damn, do I really want a 15-30 year mortgage that I'm responsible for. The other side of the coin is that if I want to rent somewhere decent then I'm dropping at $2500+ for something decent.

Then on top of that, dealing with the women in the US, they have their own set of expectation for how you should be living and moving, when you make a certain amount

The future in the US be looking grim.

The second I get a fully remote, worldwide gig its on. I'm currently limited to the US
