I'm not a passport bro, but when I travel overseas the main thing I look at is the cost of living like damn.
I'm living in a mediocre living situation in the US. However I could be living even better, somewhere next to the beach in a high rise condo, while banking most of my money.
That what is appealing.
Meanwhile the thought working in the US for the next 30+ years and barely having enough to retire is draining.
I'm at a point, where I'm considering a house in the next year or so, but I'm like damn, do I really want a 15-30 year mortgage that I'm responsible for. The other side of the coin is that if I want to rent somewhere decent then I'm dropping at $2500+ for something decent.
Then on top of that, dealing with the women in the US, they have their own set of expectation for how you should be living and moving, when you make a certain amount
The future in the US be looking grim.
The second I get a fully remote, worldwide gig its on. I'm currently limited to the US
