The lives of most high profile, up and coming athletes is incompatible with the lifestyle a lot of online black women promote. That high maintenance, eat out every night, hookah on the weekends, running up a check, nonstop vacation fake shyt a lot of these chicks pretend to be on? Nah. Most football and basketball players are at the facility most of the day. When they get free time they're eating - usually high protein stuff like Chipotle or junk fast food - or sleeping or chilling. They don't have the time or interest in heading to Turks multiple times a year. They'd rather order a steak and rice bowl than go to a steakhouse. Point is...these guys are NOT living the lifestyle that a lot of very-online black women want. And mind you these college guys are not broke in the age of NIL. They have plenty of money and it goes to...videogames, Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, movies, tech, and cars.
I don't think it's surprising that they end up with white women who are down to chill, will pick up their food orders, cook for them, etc. These dudes don't want a late night party partner, they want a personal assistant/mom they can fukk. And by the time these guys get to the NFL/NBA, the white chick has been playing her position for a couple years and is focused on making the athlete's life as smooth as possible. Never mind that in 95% of cases he's cheating on her with a chick who doesn't do any of the things I just mentioned but hey. The point is, these women are smart enough to get what they want (high profile boyfriend, money/gifts, etc) in exchange for what is essentially a GFE, girlfriend experience. It's not a real relationship in many ways - it's just a lonely dude with questionable social skills who wants access to a woman he can cuddle with, fukk, chill with, talk to, run errands for him, and handle his business.
