why yall being so simple man ...
I'll play along
1) A. Personally = NWA's Opinion ... Based on my understanding of the case, Zimmerman should have got at the very least manslaughter. He instigated through his faux detective work, didn't listen to 911 operator, and whatever happened that caused them to get physical found Zimmerman in trouble...and ultimately Trayvon on the grass.
B. Here is a thread I saw yesterday
C. Here is an article relating to blacks in Florida and Stand Your Ground law.
2) I am disappointed to an extent that most of my favorite alternative media pundits all seem to think the case was fair and square. However, as usual there are different degrees of how Zimmerman's action led to the bloody conclusion. Some say Zimmerman was stupid for ramping up the way he did, others don't even acknowledge Zimmermans influence other than he was "defending himself" . Many allude to TRayvone being a thug based on his pictures and school record (although never for criminal behavior), but in the same breathe won't acknowledge Zimmerman's actual criminal record and run in with the law. One radio host's and his guest actually said that since Trayvon was 17 years old he could actually go into the Marines and so wasn't a child
, yet this same host who I listen to a lot referred to Tsarnev brothers (one 19 and the other like 26 years old) as boys.
So to say the least, I have been wincing and cringing and tallking shiit to some of these radio hosts that I hold in high esteem most of the year.
Some have said they are sad about the outcome of a young boy dying. They still agree with the outcome. Some have even pointed out the lady getting 20 years in Florida for the one warning shot. Some have said the system isn't always fair, but its better than N Korea and other countries' systems of justice.
Some have noted that this case has been riled up to move attention away from other issues in the nation/around the world. Some have noted that black guys are the biggest killers of other black guys. Some have noted that the tension is being created between the races....so that more rights/liberties can be taken from all of us.
3) With that said, I missed the Ted Nugent interview, but I'm sure he was on some bullshiit I would disagree with quite a bit. To call A Jones a racist, just because he had Ted Nugent on and his opinions is ridiculous when
just last week he had on Larry Pinkney, who was one of the Founders of the Original Black Panther Party and if you listen to what he has to say from last Friday ... it may surprise you
4) So bascially, I said it before, I don't agree with everything that the alternative media pundits say about ever issue. As is true with most things in life. I do agree and intrigued with their analysis on many issues, even though again its not monolithic. This story from the shooting all the way to the verdict and protest is full of many strands of grey area, where one person can have many viewpoints that can go in several different directions.
