That was different. That was before a time where all the crip/blood public unity was as prevalent as it is now. You’re referring to the ‘bytches aint shyt’ video where TYGA and Nipsey were never in the same scene (that was back when Tyga used to claim Hoover and 60’s and Hoovers are mortal enemies) because of politics, and in the same vein, bringing a blood YG to the 60’s (though the 60’s and TTP had no direct beef outside of the DJ Quik El Rey incident years prior) was a slippery slope.
That tension had more to do with Nip’s audacity on a gang politic level rather than some industry (potential extortion) shyt like the DJ Khaled shyt. YG wasnt even that big at the time

Bruh I JUST had a debate like this a week ago, out here in Raleigh where a mf told me "all these Lil nighas today gotta catch a body to get on in they hood/click/gang". And that conversation started because dude was trying to tell me how all the young rappers are authentic street cats today, and it turned into fam asking me questions about Mozzy/Oak Park, turned into all that shyt...Hundreds of shooters?

Its always been a small percentage of dudes from any hood that are real shooters/killers. Any era. That's never changed...
What I will say is that the bigger a neighborhood is, obviously the number of guys on that time go up, bit it's still a small ratio of the members. In LA I used to be around Bopps, Hacies, Pain, VN nikkas, those are small hoods, there were fewer guys from those sections who were shooters because those are small areas. And there were more from Lanes, that's a bigger demographic, and a hood like 60s covers a lot of ground so there's more from there than the smaller sides...
But its always just a small percentage and you can apply this to anybody city, any hood. Raleigh, LA, Sac, anywhere...
