U was involved with the industry before he went off to do his bid. I think it's a bold statement to say "Death Row wouldn't have existed", but Suge basically stepped into a power vacuum. I think most likely nikkas would've had to learn to work together, or it would've hurt how successful any of them could've gotten...

Is this true? Suge and Deathrow wouldn't have taken off if Big U wasn't locked up at the time ? If so, why not?

I think he mentioned he was locked up from '91 to 2000.

N1gga who is us? For one u taking this way too seriously. I dont give a shyt about You, U or Keita. Point is You not going to say any of that to Big U. And I doubt seriously Keita Roc would either. Act like Big U name wasnt ringing Bells back in the day. I grew up in watts and heard about him. I got fam ova there. Even how people speak about him now, before the nip shyt, dude is a legend. Keita may be a legend in the 60s, but I would think U is even bigger cuz he's actually free. And people are still talking about him.

You like Keita Rocs PR or something. Then aint Keita Roc and Big U from different factions in the 60s?

Point is, Big U was really bout that and I believe him more than u. Especially since he had Karupt and probably woulda been able to take other crips away from Suge

And there arent plenty of martial artists bangin back then. Stop it

A reputed kingpin of one of Los Angeles’ most notorious Crips factions was sentenced Monday to 23 years in prison for trying to rob an undercover sheriff’s deputy of 33 pounds of cocaine.
Eugene Henley, 26, known as “Big U,” was arrested last December in a sting operation after he and a friend, Eddie J. Wagner, tried to rob an undercover officer who they apparently believed was a drug dealer, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Dan Feldstern.

Although Henley denied any gang affiliation, he was described by gang experts as a leader, if not the top man, in the Rollin’ 60s--a heavily armed Crips gang based in Southwest Los Angeles.

I’m just now watching the full thing. I mean wow. This isn’t rocket science.

1) The NIGHT BEFORE at an unrelated bday party, Nip and Sam discussed the Khaled situation. Clearly this was a big thing seeing how Sam still talks about it all flexing up, saying they ‘front lined it’, even to the point of saying to Nip ‘let us know when you go to the store’. It’s very clear there was beef with the 60s trying to extort Khaled.

2) For reference, that video shoot was not months or weeks before, it was just 2 days prior. When Nip died John legend tweeted out ‘I just shot a video with him Thursday’

TMZ being TMZ they actually did document the escalated threat at that video shoot right after Nips death. Makes you wonder who leaked that to them

3) Hence Nipseys ‘strong enemies’ tweet 30 minutes before his death and the day after that dinner and convo. This threat was FRESH. And that tweet wasn’t to ‘Firebugg’ the blood who peaced it up with Nip. I can see how he thought that was meant for him, but the further context clues say it was Big U

4) Also don’t forget! Why was Nipsey even at the store that day? To give a OG 60s member some clothes :patrice:That ngga was 50 something that’s not Nip’s homie that sounds like an order. And low key it was. That OG, Kerry Lathan, said ‘his family’ called Nip AT HOME to come to the store to give the clothes. Who else could call Nip at home and make him come out there? Very possibly it was Big U, and this may be a stretch but think about the timing of that tweet. 30-60 minutes before he died. Did Nip send that tweet after Big U told him to go out here? Knowing he had just ‘crossed’ U days earlier. Did he have an inkling something was up but couldn’t tell U no. Nip was human. What does our generation do when we’re stressed? tweet. Subtweet. Cryptic shyt. Very chilling possibility

4b) Remember Luce Cannon said Big U told him Nip was dead, before he was even shot? :patrice: Now he never produced that alleged FaceTime recording, but that scenario would align with U having confidence that he knew Nip was gonna be at the store and that U also had Holder on the way.

5) The reason people buried the possibility that Kerry was part of the setup was bc Kerry got shot too. But that doesn’t rule out that Kerry, too, was just following orders.

This is made stronger by 1) Kerry’s story changed. At first he said he met Nio to get a shirt. But later he said he was just driving by and saw Nip. 2) Plenty of stuff on the net about Big U taking care of Kerry afterwards, recording a collect call to Kerry, and even rumors that Kerry started buying cars and expensive items afterwards on some Goodfellas shyt

The team was already on high alert because Nipsey was doing a bunch of things to blow up his profile in addition to the DJ Khaled he had an anti gang meeting that was supposed to happen the next week with the LAPD, plus he was doing GQ INTERVIEWS with a video that dropped three days before he was killed. The strong enemies tweet was about some blood named FireBugg that happened the day before () the picture they took together with the day before is on YouTube (✂️ Fb).

Nipsey left his crib to pop out for a bit but left without security then ended up meeting one of the guys who literally just got out of jail and decided to give him merch. He took photos and signed autographs and should’ve been on his way back. From when he got out his car at 2:53 pm til when he got shot was only 25 mins with Blacc Sam getting there quickly.

As bad as it was he tried to fight to live by changing his breathing. Tried to get up but couldn’t because he became paralyzed. The autopsy showed he was high on weed codeine, and promethazine which means he was sipping on lean maybe that was messing with his judgement.

Sometimes people die and it’s a bunch of weird shyt for example Robert Ripley from Ripley’s believe it or not died right they filmed the 13th episode of the show back in 1949 the world star man died the day before the TV was supposed to start.

:aicmon:

I’m well aware of all the publicly disseminated explanations. That ‘we on high alert bc he doin GQ and blowing up’ is laughable. That’s stuff meant for casuals

Sam just gave us the real story you just gotta read between the lines

‘Brought Khaled to the hood’. They wouldn’t bring Khaled to enemy turf. So that means he brought Khaled to THEIR (60s) hood.

‘Politics’ = power struggle, check in type shyt

‘Ain’t nobody gon do nothing to him’ = somebody tried to do something to him Extrotion attempt

It’s pretty obvious, but a few other situations give added context

1- Khaled situation is identical to the YG situation. I saw someone already mentioned Rodzay he is an insider and has been spilling all the 60’s ‘tea’. According to him Big U pressed Nipsey for bringing YG to the hood. Then U and his people ran up to the store to try to DP Nip pause.

2- Around that same and maybe even based on that same situation, U tried to get some Bloods to rob Nip. But bc of Nip’s status the Bloods didn’t do it and told Nip U sent them

So U has a history of trying to ‘punish’ Nip and it sounds like his ego said the Khaled situation was last straw

Ppl call out Big U now cuz his son in the nfl and its lowkey a new way of snitc. Just like how Wack calls out J Prince. He's basically telling the police to protect him

Watt does sellin drugs have to do with anythin I said ???

How does bein a drug kingpin make u a boogeyman

None of that moves the needle round these parts , if u was a factor on these streets it don’t matter if u was in the pen or otherwise , u gettin it done and stoppin the show if you a factor like that

all that yapping and kappin on vlad is for Mfs like Tony who don’t know any better

Same reason Simon was never fazed by Big U

Kuzz was never feared over these parts

Outside from bein a Debo as mf ,who kould run those hands

Like I’ve said numerous times , he wasn’t a factor to mfz in his own hood like Nip , he got thrown off as mgmt and they still kouldnt tax em

I knew U through uncle Dane /Dane Webb .. and CJ Mac they my relatives from the other side

And they both looked up to each Rock in a diff way to how they spoke on U

And he was a always respectful and business minded when I dealt wit him

I got no issues with the way he went about his biz and stole suges while model in the later years

But sayin there would be no Row , suge wouldn’t be who he is … Koz he wouldn’t allow it :francis::mjlol:

He's not an outsider, he just didn't grow up in what became the 60's......because they didn't exist until he was almost a teenager.

It's long watch, but it outlines the details of how all them Arlington cats ended up becoming 60's
