What attracts you to it? And what are you looking for if you move out here?Cali is the land of MONEY. Don't come here if you ain't tryna make none. You can NOT sit on your ass out here - not in a major city. The rent alone will kill you.
Had a loft in emeryville a few years back but i was recently thinkin of moving to frisco. Bout to scrap that i think. Been kickin it out there for the past year and ain't NO black folks. Most importantly, no black women and no real black culture outside of the few hoods here. So paying 5000+ a month to live around nothing but asians and whites? I'm good
I got my eye on desoto tx. I'm hearin good things
South Central was like 80% black in the 80sFrom what I understand, south central blacks moved out on their own to better accommodations after the LA riots.
Also, I think a lot of the "mexicans running out blacks" are in areas of L.A. that are and always have been overwhelmingly Latino. Like 95%+...

I read a thread on here about it being a great black upper/middle class city and over 50% of the businesses are owned by blacks.
I'm interested in it from a business perspective and some damn sanctuary from the non black bullshyt
Well that is true, however, being a black suburb, in the south, in a red state, these cacs stil got their ways. Like for example, Desoto, and the surroudning black suburbs around it, have no bus lines or easy access to the city, despite the fact that they directly border it, and you can literally see downtown from your bedroom windowI read a thread on here about it being a great black upper/middle class city and over 50% of the businesses are owned by blacks.

meanwhile cac suburbs far north of the city got buses and free wifi and shyt
And dont get stopped by the Desoto police either
Thats really just the bad tho, they are nice, arguably the nicest suburbs in the city, but because they're majority black, cacs try their best to not do anything for it.
Be stuck in a giant dust bowl known as Texas and ask why people want to live close to the coast, brehs.
Alot of people open businesses in Duncanville(next to Desoto). It's not as dead and more diverse. They're both good neighborhoods, just gotta take into account that cacs are doing everything in their power to turn them into one of those suburbs where they send all the poor people from gentrified neighborhoods in the city.
