LOL I noticed that a lot too. I have natural hair and people assume that I like white men, which is not true lol. Most of the people I hang around and get along with are black people lol....I was talking to my professor the other day about race in America and he was shocked to know that I like black men. People think that because I am kind, soft spoken, have natural hair, and etc I prefer white men. As for black men approaching me....Honestly I've had black men that are African, Afro Caribbean, African American and etc approach me with my natural hair or when i am wearing a wig. People say non black men appreciate natural hair more but I see the total opposite.

I do notice a lot of women who are natural tend to be linked with white men. I think it has something to do with black men being conditioned into liking black girls with unnatural hair.

I personally prefer natural hair and appreciate afrocentric features. I cant get with the makeup and weave brigade.

let's settle this women approaching thing once and for all.. there's nothing wrong with a woman approaching a man she's interested in. Should she approach as much as a man? Hell no. Having a discusson on this forum is so impossible. It's like you guys take everything to the extreme. The topic isn't about approaching men. She is asking multiple men on dates. She is doing all the pursing. That is not the same thing as starting a converstaion. There is nothing wrong with that but if a woman expresses interest and the guy does not try to take it any further than she should not pursue. That is not what the OP is doing.
