I went to college in the whitest of white midwest. Took my english comp class and some white girl is complaining to the professor for no damned good reason (besides me standing behind her) about black students getting a black study group. "Why don't we get a WHITE study group?" Not a year later I see her hugged up on some big-ass Tyrone looking MFer and she's giving me this embarrassed look like "yeah, I know. sorry."

Story is, most people who talk like that have been RAISED to THINK like that. They get out on their own and start interacting with people from different backgrounds and it changes their outlook on life. That's part of what's so great about college life.
