CAP

HES HAD LEGACY ARTISTS
HEADLINE EVERY ONE OF HIS SBS.

NOW OUT OF THE BLUE
HES GOING WITH THE HOT ARTIST OF THE YR?

EVERYONE SEES WHAT JAY IS DOING
AND HES RIGHTFULLY BEING CALLED OUT
FOR IT.

HES ABOUT TO BURY DRAKE ON
THE BIGGEST STAGE IN THE WORLD

Mans said this like Wayne is Frank Sinatra. All ‘legacy artists’ aren’t built the same. Eminem is white. Snoop is a caricature that transcends rap see the Olympics. Usher is r&b and has the women. Wayne ain’t on that level

Usher was in the middle of selling out his residency and was an active global icon. Wayne was doing shows at the Filmore for $100 a year ago. Same place I saw The Internet and Jay Electronica. :beli: They ain’t the same bruh.

Also lol @ burying Drake. Drake could do an SB. Wayne cannot. So that’s irrelevant. They have people smarter than us and with more resources than us looking at all the metrics and ticket sales. Wayne is nowhere near as big as rap fans think he is.

When Destiny's Child performed in New Orleans at the 2013 Super Bowl at the height of Lil Wayne being at the top of his powers, where was all this crying?
Super Bowl wasn't open to rappers then

It's a new initiative in response to backlash about the league not supporting the kneeling thing

Also, 2013 isn't 2008

What makes this funny is that Wayne don't even f*ck with Bird lol.
I wonder why :sas2:

I taught 'em 'bout fishscale, they want me to fish for them
They want me to catch clean, then cook up a dish for them
All of this just for them, or they got a diss for him..

..and really the FACT is, we NOT in the same bracket
NOT in the same league, don’t shoot at the same baskets
DON’T pay the same taxes, hang with the same bytches
So HOW am I in the way, WHAT is it I'm missing?

Was jay-z in control of the half time show during this time period?
Who cares? Have any of us looked at the halftime show to be something? To us? It’s always been about popular or pop acts that I don’t bother watching It was Prince or Michael Jackson. I just And never have and now people are acting as if they’ve always cared

I don’t give a fukk about some Super Bowl initiative. I never have. Halftime show has never been about the culture. The only Show ex Is because of in living color, putting the NFL under pressure. I simply don’t give a fukk and most of you guys didn’t either.

What do you mean who cares? Everyone cares. Thats why its a big discussion.

Far as rest of your post, thats the point of hiring jay-z in first place, to change the half time culture

Youve gone full retard in this thread

It’s obvious Birdman been feeling a type of way about Jay for a long time and found a reason to go at him.

Birdman helped put Lil Wayne on but behind closed doors I bet Wayne respects Jay more

This will be interesting…

They was cool apparently until Jay tried to sign Wayne to the Roc back in the day. Funny thing about that story is that Jay did the stand up thing and hollered at Baby in person to see what was good with that. Birdman hit him back with letters from his lawyers and shyt :lolbron:
