Black people are waking up consciously and these rappers are gonna be questioned more and more about the content of their music. Its not "just entertainment". This music is being used to keep the most negative stereotypes of black people at the forefront of society's consciousness
It is just entertainment

I didn't like how Birdman handle that last dude...

I mean he asked him about the content in the music and I think Birdman got a lil tight about it.

He didn't own up to his actions IMO

Birdman is the last person they should be holding these conversations with. He's a rapper not a judge, lawyer, or politician
In a sense I agree, but who has more influence on the kids? Besides, if someone like Birdman talked to judges, lawyers and politicans he could get more done than the average person, I put that on ms glady

What does Birdman influence kids to do?

drugs, homosex, and bad business deals. :skip:

I can't even respect this shyt.

First thing out son mouth at 1:43 is, "I grew up with no parents, in foster homes, so I understand the mindset of being confused."

As someoene who took advantage of a young, confused Hot Boys crew, B.G. & Lil' Wayne being the most notable incidents, I heard "I know how to manipulate young confused men." Call it what you want, but I don't even wanna hear son perspective on this. You can't be FOR the cause if you can't even truly b for your own Family.

Get this shyt the fukk outta here. :camby: Black people will applaud anything that SOUNDS or LOOKS good, without doing their homework. How the fukk did we become CLINTON fans? :mjlol:

he's spitting facts
I don't know about that...he danced around the obvious like white politicians do the BLM movement. Fact is RG is always talkin that chopper talk...layin down whole blocks...he didn't necessarily address that. Instead he relied upon the pastors to hush the crowd. But he is right, that it is the parents job....BUT HE SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE THE MUSIC DOESNT HELP THOSE SAME PARENTS AT ALL.

i get what you saying but i feel that the parents should monitor what they child absorbs. Just like now days, you have those TV ratings that come on television right before a show to let you know what it entails. Same with the parental advisory. He should own up to some things , but i do get what he stated in terms of parents.

and wasn't Birdman buying homes for the less fortunated? @Ineedmoney504

If they're asking him about music I feel it's o.k. You don't have to be a judge or a politician to take responsibility for the words coming out of your mouth.
