He got lucky. Kevin’s rings don’t bother me here because I consider Bird to have played on “super teams” his entire career.
Kevin would never win a series averaging 15 points per game on 42% FG.

At thier absolute best , bird was the better player. He was a league mvp 3 times while durant was an MVP only once, and he was big time in the playoffs. This is just like the same argument with magic vs curry, its magic. You can be a great top tier player but still be overshadow by all time players. Durant is not the 1st or second best at his position to be honest. You cant compare KD and curry to bird and magic , there in another level
I would rather bird be my number 1, but if I have multiple options and a distributer. Give me Durant.
