Clearly people who saw The Happening or a Quiet Place had a one up on the rest of us. So you guys scoring shyt as trash have to take that into account.
Also, I think a bunch of y'all are just hate watching it just to say you saw it.
It was free. It's the holidays. It's some shyt to watch just to push through til New Years. No idea why it needs to go deeper than that.
Cats leave with the car: "Omg why don't we ever hear back from them"
nikka who cares. Nobody is surviving out there. They're dead.
"Why's she shooting into the wind if there are no monsters"
because she can't take the blindfold off and doesn't have YOUR perspective about who or what is in front of her.
The only major plot hole was the scene where they tried to look at the monster through the camera's. Technically that is safer than putting a cloth over your eyes, because cloth doesn't block out light completely and camera's feeds aren't direct inputs to the human eye. So if the argument is that only blindness is an immunity, any ray of light that comes into contact with your retina should turn you. (Caveat: there are different levels of blindness, so that would be a plot hole as well)
Also, if the monster is able to transmit control through camera feeds then that means all of the news reports would be responsible for turning people in other countries. Sandra watched the news when it hit Russia while they were broadcasting in the middle of a riot and she didn't turn. (That's actually the reason why I thought BD Wong's assessment was correct and I would've died just like him
)
That's really as deep as you need to go. This was a cool movie to chill out to. Black mirror is next
