it's the same game. for that matter, it's a console game ported to the PC. it's like saying a dvd and vhs of the same movie "damn near look the same". of course they do, but one still looks better than the other

Everyone knows ports look better on PC, but I've often heard PC gamers talk about how ports look "significantly" better, yet every port comparison I've seen displays very marginal differences. Your screen comparison in this case is no different, hence my comment.

it has a steep learning curve, and the alpha has no bootcamp/training missions. peep some youtube videos, and learn how to use the editor (it's easy to make your own missions)

the texture on the ground looks significantly better. the way the lighting interacts with the texture is completely different. that's why I picked that shot

not to mention 1080p is more than twice the resolution of 720p. that alone is significant
