In all seriousness, I don’t even think he specifically called himself gender fluid. He was probably saying he has masculine and feminine qualities, the the writer took that to say he’s gender fluid and referred to him as a “them.”
Many interviews are often taken out of context. I refuse to believe this BS.
I can’tProvide plausible context that makes sense of this quote:
The now 82-year-old actor, Billy Dee Williams, told the magazine, "I say 'himself' and 'herself,' because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine," going on to say, "I'm a very soft person. I'm not afraid to show that side of myself."
I can’t.
All I know is that these writers will take something and add words that were never actually uttered or take things out of context. This man is 82. This makes no sense! “Gender fluid” wouldn’t even be in his vocabulary...
nikka literally says he uses "himself" or "herself" in reference to himself and you don't see how "gender fluid" is a easier way to convey that in a title? This aint no writer conspiracy, dude told you what he was in that quoteI can’t.

You're probably right. I find it hard to believe someone of his age would know today's buzzwords. In all seriousness, I don’t even think he specifically called himself gender fluid.
