Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting newly unsealed court documents revealed Billy Corgan wants full control over TNA, and he is claiming Dixie Carter lied about her sale discussions with WWE.
Pro Wrestling Sheet has documents claiming Billy helped bail TNA out financially a few times, and the last time he made some demands for his help that were reportedly agreed upon and entered into a equity pledge agreement along with Dixie Carter (addressed legally as Mrs. Salinas in the documents).
Billy’s lawyers are claiming Dixie denied discussion with WWE, but had a different story she told the roster during a reported company-wide meeting. Corgan’s suit also claims he had no idea about Fight Network / Anthem’s recent funding, saying:
“This recent conduct is consistent with the way that Mrs. Salinas and the other managers have dealt with plaintiff since the inception of his involvement with Impact Ventures. They have failed to keep plaintiff apprised of matters of great significance to the company; they have routinely misled plaintiff with information necessary to discharge his duties as President to manage the day-to-day operations of the business; and they have regularly interfered with, subverted, or ignored plaintiffs authority to manage the affairs of the company.”
According to the documents obtained by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Corgan is seeking compensatory damages for TNA breach of contract, supported by emails from Corgan’s lawyer claiming they show the company being unresponsive to his requests. Corgan claims all Dixie did was send an email saying she would be in touch to discuss her role in the company moving forward.
