we agree on #3 as well re: her “push” isn’t organic...I disagree w/ you on number 2 bcuz myself and others in this thread who seem to agree are actually speaking specifically to the video/imagery and not the song/lyrical content...also a great point that someone introduced that no one is touching is that the music is arguably reflective of the times and not vice versa...and a plant like eilish and her backing/handlers are capitalizing on a sign of the times

1. Imagery is tame but can't show examples of untamed videos by artists you claimed earlier.

2. Guy with no celebrity status supposedly makes video of active shooter Las Vegas and it's taken down...months later Eminem makes the same video with music and it's a hit. That's capitalizing. No artist is going to be like "I'm going with the satanic ritual video craze" to sell records. It's the industry that controls the videos of today. These artists today aren't knowledgeable about "sign of the times", they want be famous that's all.

You had the debut of a white rapper who talked about date rape and murdering his baby mama while his infant daughter watched, you had a movie about nihilistic anarchists starting an underground club so they can beat the shyt out of each other and you had the debut of a show about a sociopathic, murderous mob boss with mommy issues. And that's just scratching the surface.
