also I realize we may be of the same opinion, I’m just wording things poorly. I was mostly arguing at the stand point of people who found BE to be “demonic” that she really isn’t whereas other dark acts are more so fitting of the title. But I don’t actually believe those black metal bands are actually demonic or truly evil. I think I didn’t expand that properly and was too vague which lead to confusion

The problem is people assume fitting the part of Satanism is dark, gory, gritty but as we all know the Angel of Light is a trickster who can easily push both versions(dark, gritty and clean pop ish) to the masses.

If Lavey influenced soft rock like the Eagles, his vision can be seen in Pop music easily

ya there’s nothing overly shocking or “demonic” about the video...truth be told it was pretty cliche/boring...90s alternative music had more shocking shyt than this...I was expecting more of a “story” to be told via the video...just seems like she decided it’d be “cool” to have some wings and have fire “behind” her as she walks and that’s it...I could understand how this might come across as “edgy” to her demographic tho...she comes across as a typical try-hard “rebel”
