Cant believe they put this douchebag on this set. They do a great job with getting rid of Barry and Broussard...they fill one position well with Jalen Rose (i think so anyhow)...but then they put this guy on there?

He reminds me when they tried to put Dennis Miller in the MNF booth...he cracks corny ass jokes left and right...no knowledge at all

i just...im having a hard time with this

You guys hate on everything. I normally disagree with Simmons but at least he isn't afraid of calling people out and has a different point of view from most guys on TV. I'd give him a couple of months before throwing him in the bushes.

My main issue with him is that even though he knows a lot of bball he focuses way too much on intangible bullshyt and that will get annoying very fast on TV.

When i say knowledge...Im sure he can tell u who led the league in assists in 1984, but I dont want to hear this guy talk about the current league and break down individual games/strategy

Like has already been said, dude KNOWS his basketball. I don't really go along with his opinions or enjoy hearing him speak, but he does have alot of knowledge

Glad they got rid of Barry & Broussard, they gotta get rid of Wilbon & Magic and they'll be moving in the right direction
