He's right about Jordan having to learn to how to involve his team before he could win

Y'all will pretend like that isn't true tho:lolbron:

Jordan won because Pippen and Grant became better. Both of those players took a quantitative leap not just as players but also mentally and in their performances against the Pistons.

Even if you didn't watch Jordan play, which you didnt , judging by your comments, look at his stats. In the 89 playoffs (7.5 assists) in the 90 playoffs (7.0 assists). So he definitely was passing.

Laimbeer is such an idiot actually. I remember an interview of him being worried when Pippen started to put up big numbers in the 91 playoff run.

Jordan was more than good enough to be the best player on a championship team even as a rookie. This thing about Jordan needing to "improve" is absolute nonsense. If he was given Magic's team or Bird organization, he would have won 9 or 10 championships.

C'mon now , even by the standards of that era you were. I've watched all those playoff games 88, 89, 90, 91 recently so my views are fresh. Targetting and smashing a guy every time he drove to the rim and making sure to lay him out flat on the ground is not basketball. If it was another player with a weaker body than Jordan, that guy would have gotten seriously hurt.

But I'm not even gonna critize. The Pistons just took advantage of the rules as they were in that time period.
They weren't a dirty team unless it was against teams where they felt they had to muddy it up or teams they felt was soft as shyt. The Bulls were both which is why Oakley was so critical but even he wasn't enough. But against teams like the Bulls, they were dirty as fukk, for any era. The three most muddy teams are mid and late 90s Utah Jazz, mid and late 80's Pistons and mid 2000's Pacers. Those teams love to muddy it up, in terms of dirty plays, NO ONE was like the Pistons when it mattered most. No one.

If you noticed, the dirtiest players on both Utah and Detriot were less athletic WHITE players (Laimbeer and Stockton) but when a Muddy team was all Black and Artest was the dirtiest player, the NBA ended that type of play and called it THUGGISH.

Why can’t he just legit feel that way? His points were good. Why is challenging Jordan blasphemy? That’s corny.

Jordan is a father figure and hero to a lot of folks so not naming him no 1 is blasphemy to a lot of people Jay-z use to get the same treatment but time hasn’t been as kind to him.
