Actually, they did. Courts were more biased against women back then. Most states didn't even have marital rape laws on the books. DNA testing didn't exist yet. Etc. And Cosby was rich and famous. Rich people always have an advantage in these situations. When that first Black woman said Cosby raped her back then, nobody believed her.

If I were a recording artist, I'd stay Independent and not even fukk with major labels. Build the fan base. Drop music whenever it's time to. Tour like crazy. Save and invest that money. And pull a Dre and disappear until whenever I feel like dropping another project.
