If you meant to say "Gimme the Loot" is wack, Im gonna have to block you sir.

Yes I meant back.
He's not the writer Jay is, but my point is Biggie could make a D'evils (wouldn't be as lyrical) and make it dope. If Jay tried to make a Gimme The Loot it would come off wild corny and not believable.

So basically he isn't the perfect balance.

Jay z is.

Jay is close but he can't make hardcore/gutter songs like Biggie. And don't confuse street songs with gutter songs. Like Jay-Z can make street songs like "Where I'm From", but he can't make a song like "Gimme the Loot".
Came in to say jay but this is a good point:ehh:

Biggie don't have a D'evils

when has biggie ever had multisyllablic rhymes inside the bar

Nine to five is how ya survive, I ain't trying to survive
I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it alive

jay-z got internal rhyme schemes and im not even a huge jay-z fan like that but i know he got iller rhyme schemes then biggie imo.

And biggie could not write a D'evils which is better than Gimme the Loot by a long fukkin shot. As you said, Jay is frankly the better writer so he could write gimme the loot but why would he?

No because I just said Jay can't make certain songs without coming off corny. Biggie can make any song without coming off corny. I didn't say Biggie is better at EVERYTHING than Jay. Biggie could make any song Jay can make, just not write it as well. Jay can't make every kinda song Biggie can make though. He doesn't have the delivery or believability to pull it off. And he can't make descriptive storytelling songs like Biggie.

So he's as complete as Beanie Sigel.

But not as complete as Jay:sas1:

Lacked substance, wasnt as lyrical as Jay,wordplay not as good as Jay,not sure what his ear for beats was since he had Puffy...starting to look like Biggies diet was more balanced:mjlol:

just admit you went too far op...what makes him even more balanced than Snoop?

From making radio hits like Juicy, Hypnotize, Mo Money Mo Problems, One More Chance (R&B remix), and Get Money to dominate the clubs and charts. Then make street records that can compete with any other rapper (mainstream or underground) on a lyrical level like Last Day, Notorious Thugs, Long Kiss Goodnight, Who Shot Ya etc. On top of that the dude was an amazing storyteller. Ready to Die may be the greatest concept album of all time only rivals by his other album Life After Death :ohlawd:. Biggie had everything. Flow, presence, charisma, voice, personality, and lyrical ability. If you ask me, Biggie may have been the perfect rap artist. All this under the age of 25. I can't even imagine what his discography would be like.
Some of yall probably aint gonna read all of this and just throw some :skip: at me, but ask your favorite rapper who's the king of NY :sas1:
He was the most complete mc ever.

I wouldn't say he lacked substance look at how old he was when he recorded Ready to Die. Biggie was indeed a great storyteller plus his flow was unmatched. Was Jay better lyrically that's debatable.
