I was in high school when that movie came out :old:, and I remember a couple of my classmates spoiling the end.

First time I saw the Usual Suspects was at my aunt's house. Her and my cousin kept hyping up the ending saying I wouldn't believe the twist at the end. They hyped it up so much that I kept thinking about what it would be as I was watching it.

About halfway through the film, I was like "hold up, is Kevin Spacey the crime boss? Is that the twist?" And they were like :merchant: and were silent for the rest of the movie. When the movie ended I was like :martin:

Unpopular opinion about the Usual Suspects it’s just an ok movie without that plot twist

I mean it's been years since I've seen it, but I remember feeling like the twist just made everything else that happened in the movie feel pointless and like a waste of two hours lol. But to be fair, it's been awhile since I've watched it and my opinions on movies in general have changed since then

I agree with you, but it’s been a minute since I wanted the movie.
I think it deserves a rewatch
