Going from Goldust to Seven was pretty terrible, but going from Goldust to Black Reign was even worse because that ripoff gimmick actually stuck around for a bit. Dustin was on his way to looking like Dusty and was completely unmotivated in the ring (plus it was TNA so it already had a shyt factor to it).

The Stalker would have been fine if they still called him Barry Windham. It's not like Blackjack Mulligan didn't have some promos around the camp fire in his day.

Also if Barry was in shape and didn't move like he was 65. Those few months in WCW in early 1999 were a fukking miracle run for him.

Agree with this, but that's also a gimmick DDP came up with himself. They honestly could give that to somebody right now. Honestly, with him smiling for no reason so often, Apollo Crews would be the perfect person for that gimmick.
