I'm gonna go with the way all the CM Punk stuff was handled from MITB on up through that Nash shyt that went nowhere & the Johnny Ace shyt that went nowhere.

He missed 1 episode of Raw & came back. Beat Cena at SummerSlam, got MITB cashed in by Del Rio to lose the belt after Nash attacked him. Got replaced by HHH in the match with Nash, so never got anything from any of it. Got the belt back & was headed for an angle with Johnny Ace but that turned into nothing.
