Bret has been in my top three since I was a jit. I know wrestling is smoke and mirrors and a random Bret Hart match on RAW '95 can still convince me that somebody got worked over and beat down for real.
- Protected his peers in the ring (even those who tried to make his life hell.)
- Worked a believable style.
- Catapulted Stone Cold into superstardom.
- Underrated heel run.
- Solid talker.
- Went to bat for the locker room on countless occassions.
- Stayed out of politics.
- Has never had an issue with anyone not Kliq affiliated.
- Beloved internationally.
- The most Iconic submission finisher not named the Figure Four.
And he was down with Salt 'N Pepa.
I got Rock as my #1 and Bret at #2, but I won't argue with a damn soul that puts Bret at the top of their list.
