The city is a football city, so the saints ain't going no where, and honestly the pels either, teams don't switch cities often. If Saccstill has a team I know the pels ain't going no where. Plus the nba and nfl loves New Orleans

But, walk with me; Boogies leaves next summer. AD leaves in 2020 (which will be a free agent year). What are the Pelicans selling?
People forget the NBA couldn't sell our team and keep it in New Orleans. We had to get bought by the Saints owner.
And, bless his heart, Benson ain't no spring chicken. The NBA would have to give us a sweet deal for his kids not to sell to some big tech giant who wants a team in Seattle, again.

The only way the Saints leave is if a hurricane destroys the city for good or the NFL just plain shuts down. The Saints are too popular to go anywhere and local government would do pretty much anything to keep them here.
As far as the Pels leaving, I think that's a storyline that's promoted by idiots like Bill Simmons who don't watch games and are mad our small market team has Boogie and AD and their favorite team doesn't. If AD walks (God forbid
) then the Pelicans will bottom out, get a top draft pick in the draft and the marketing team will boost him up like he's the next big thing. Personally I think the NBA would add a team in Seattle and some other city before moving the pelicans or any other team.
He's still with Gayle. Both of their old asses were at the game tonight. They even went into the locker room to congratulate the team on the win.
