it was beautiful to watch
During training camp the coaches and players were raving about how Rondo was fitting in with the scheme Gentry was implementing. Him getting hurt might have been a blessing in disguise since we probably wouldn't have signed Nelson otherwise. Rondo being out with the 1st team and Nelson and Jackson splitting time running the 2nd team could workout great.
Lowkey, one of the best things about watching Pelican games is hearing Joel Myers and David Wesley try to restrain themselves from shytting on Gentry and player effort

True, but not in this case. They signed him under the hardship exception, meaning that once the Pels have enough healthy players, the exception disappears and they would be on he hook for his salary. Rondo is about to come back so the exception is about to be lifted.
