I could see how this could be the case if it's your first time. I think 80's action tv and movie cheese and machismo is the hardest to understand and enjoy of any era if you didn't grow up in it. There was a certain level of goofy over-the-topness that seems to be toned down in eras before or after it. Must be all the coke that was getting pumped into the country during that time

Nah predator one still holds up I was born in 86
shyt enter the dragon fight scenes and that was the 70s I just rewatched 3 ninjas and that held up too lol
