Hip-Hop's been playing that fence between what is considered homosexuality and what is considered, well, I guess you can call it "Hetero Assertion of dominance through sexual means." There are whole lists(I think one was on Complex) about the 50 most suspect lines in hip-hop. When you fuse prison culture with Alternative Hollywood Lifestyles, and repressed sexual desires due to the Conservative family backgrounds these artist come from, and add a pinch of molestation(SugarRay) then you get stories like what you've just read about in this thread about Black celebrities and Black athletes in general. But especially when it comes to hip hop. There's plenty of homophobic anti-gay rappers with rather homoerotic lyrics. Calling other rappers fakkits, while telling them to suck your dikk, or more or less telling them you have goons that'll happily rape them, their kids, or that they're down for raping them themselves, has always been a weird dichotomy in hip hop. You can say the same thing about Punk Rock.
