Regional slang ass nikka, what is a dub? That means $20 in the Bay.

:mjlol: same here or it can mean a W as in a Win, i know from the internet tho that east coast cats use dub as something like a L/Loss

I knew I should have worded that better lol :francis:

But dub in NY could mean 1) 20 as you said 2) that's a dead situation 3) we took that win (w, dub)

So dub in ny means both win and a loss?

Dude is turning into the Black Larry David.:mjlol:

His past month has felt like a Curb Your Enthusiasm marathon. Each beef is like an episode in it's own right.

The Season finale will end in Dubai when the bell rings to start the fight and Soulja Boy is standing across the ring from Chris Brown like :ld:

EDIT: I kinda want to pitch 'Burb Your Enthusiasm' now :patrice:

This shyt a dub. Feel like a damn Netflix series we watching smh
Where did this dub slang come from breh? Heard Kyng the Weirdo gay Louisiana dude, Chris Brown and now u.

Far as I kno dub was short for W (or a 20)... Meanin it would be a win... But I see from context clues that's not the case.

I honestly don't know breh :jbhmm: now that I think about it we started saying it around 09-10. The generation before us use to say it for strictly bud.

As far back as I can remember, in Queens a dub was a dead situation.

"You going to that party?"
"Nah it's a dub on that"

I see... We used to say dud in a similar fashion.... Like a dud firework which is why I was confused
