:mjlol: None of this matters when no one gives af about any of this, and neither the product nor money made is actually affected

What was big show best run in he Wwe?
I feel like maybe on smackdown before he shaved his head by I just feel like in the grand scheme he consistently was booked better than mark henry yet henry peak is way higher then show

the giant steel chair and hulkster spoof.
big show gets trolled by jericho in tags and jericho turns on him.
his most heinous villain move is probably him destroying rey.
unintentionally the comedy of him and big bossman with the mallet to smash his daddeh's watch.
is still the most comedic cartoon imagery in the company's history.

Future WWE Hall Of Famer The Big Show was recently a guest on “Busted Open Radio” to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Show talked about advising the likes of today’s big men such as Braun Strowman, and struggling to find a niche in his early days in the business. Check out the highlights here:

Advising Braun Strowman not to take bumps for Sami Zayn: “No, there isn’t any more politics,” Big Show said. “You didn’t have to out-maneuver the guy next to you who was influencing through promos, or burying you through promos, or doing something to you in the ring that made you look stupid or took advantage of you and did things they shouldn’t do to make themselves look better.

“You had to be conscious of all of that, but nowadays I saw Braun Strowman, what was it – a year and a half ago and was all over him because he was taking a clothesline from Sami Zayn, and he was all, ‘Well, it was just one bump before I would kill him.’ I was like, I don’t care. Sami Zayn should not bump you ever. Sami Zayn does not look like a guy – I asked him if Sami Zayn can kick his a** in real life, he said, ‘Well, no.’ I said, alright then. Why are you taking a bump for him? You know what I mean?

“This is coming from a guy with personal experience who had bumped for the wrong people my entire career because I didn’t want to do the no-fall down stuff. I wanted to be respected as a worker so I can thank my knees, shoulders and back because I wanted to be a worker.”

He's right, I hate how friendly the roster is now because it means that no one really wants to be the top person without doing what necessary. Stone Cold was known for his paranoia about his booking and that's exactly what you need to succeed in this business. The only way you can succeed without it is if you have the ridiculous charisma of The Rock, who could eat multiple losses and get bigger after each one. These fools today go out there and talk abut how they hate so & so and then post an IG story with them 5mins later joking around.

Watched this a couple nights ago and it was very good. So many good points and the WWE will never take advantage of the knowledge of vets like him and Mark Henry

No hes not right. They only push who they want until it gets overwhelming like with Bryan and Becky.

Vince is in his 70s, his core audience watches no matter how trash the product is, and networks still throw insane money his way because Raw/SD remain some of the biggest non-live sports guarantees on TV. No worries about them hitting all-time low ratings because ratings across the board are down on TV period.

There's no incentive to change anything.

Yup. Just sat through it and feel the same way. Crazy how they’re looking elsewhere when they’ve got all that institutional knowledge

Its not the same business it was back then though. The guys don't hold the power cause everyone's a spoke on the wheel. WWE's been on that "You don't like how you're being pushed? Well, there's the door" wave for years now. Just look at Neville :pachaha:

And adhering to kayfabe when it comes to social media isn't going to get you over or help you climb the ladder, especially when WWE stays hyping up and showing clips from Total Divas and posting things like this

The guys do hold power but they've gotten comfortable with money and job security. There's only 2 things that would change the way they do things but neither is going to happen, and that's because no one wants to rock the boat and there's no legit American competition to go against the WWE. The pic you posted proves that the company is just as much at fault as the wrestlers themselves. Neville is a bad example because he was just a lower tier midcarder, but if anyone they're high on decided they wanted to shake things up then they wouldn't be so quick to dump them.

Racist show vs Alberto Del Rio was comical while it lasted......Show was brilliant during that time frame

Alberto del Rio was good only that one time.

That was good stuff.

How scared show acted was brilliant.
That I am glad.
someone noticed it other than me as well.

Big show was too nice.

Imo,...

He should have changed his body asthetically. Then used the change in aesthetics. to get over how naturally charismatic he really is ala the showster. Plus how when he saved his beautiful brickhouse wife via angle. I saw he could be a hero if he applied himself.
He bought to much into the gravy train of looking like the guy Hogan can whip for to long. When he should have hit the change button and got some crazy aesthetics. Which for his size would have come rather easily. Instead he just stayed complacent with being this heel. who in all intents in purposes was made to job to Hogan. Instead of taking life by the horns and becoming a new giant that looked untouchable in the part. Imo when he debuted. He should have taken to aesthetics. Instead of taking to being and having the look of the jabrone to Hogan as a pre-requisite.
Imo, the goblin actually stifled him on purpose. Which is another long rant.

I used to really root this guy on secretly. As I thought I saw more there potentially, than was actually presented.
I guess it was safer for him professionally to just be. Which I understand as well. I kinda always think in positive what if terms about big show. It was a lot there, if people watched him with objective vision.
